“ These folks are so kind. The food is absolutely phenomenal! We're from Ohio but anytime we come through PA we make a stop at Cedar's. Meiky is a big fan too but she couldn't get the door open ;) ”
“ The food was great! The hostess and I believe the owner were so warm and kind. Her father gave us special Lebanese coffee to try! It felt like we were part of their family. Recommend to any and everyone. They also had delicacies from the cm Middle East to buy. ”
“ This family run restaurant is one you WONT want to miss! They are the kindest, most hospitable, caring people we’ve ever met. It was my sister’s birthday and the owner was more than accommodating. Walking us through the different dishes, bringing the food to us, treating the birthday girl to baklava. The food was phenomenal! We had the gyro pita, grape leaves, hummus baba ganache, lamb and chicken kebabs, and chicken shawarma. ”
“ A must stop for good food! I’m a vegetarian so I ordered the falafel pita wrap and beet salad. Best I’ve ever had! Staff is super friendly! I sat outside and enjoyed my food! Thank you! ”
“ Cedar’s Grill is a true hidden gem—one of those rare places where the moment you walk in, you feel like family. This small, family-owned Mediterranean restaurant is run with heart and soul, and it shows in every detail. In the back, the elderly mom and dad are hard at work, cooking up incredibly delicious, homemade Mediterranean food. You can taste the love and experience in every bite—this is authentic cooking at its finest. We ordered the mixed grill, which was packed with amazing flavor and grilled to perfection. The meats were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. We also tried a variety of appetizers—hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and eggplant salad—all fresh, vibrant, and beautifully balanced. The owner, who was so friendly and warm, even threw in a few extra appetizers for us to try. It was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel even more special. Everything we ate was not only incredibly tasty but also felt clean and healthy—real, whole ingredients prepared with care. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a lovely, relaxed vibe that feels like you’re dining in someone’s home rather than a restaurant. Overall, Cedar’s Grill is a place you go not just for food, but for a heartfelt experience. Delicious, healthy, homemade Mediterranean food, served by a family who clearly puts love into everything they do. Can’t wait to go back when we’re in the area again! ”
“ 12/14 Update Just had to go back again. Lamb platter and souvlaki platters were amazing. Beet salad, baba ganoush, and Lebanese coffee were so good. Their baklava was especially fabulous! Most baklava anymore is too sweet to begin with and then it is drowned in sweet syrup. Cesar’s baklava is flaky, nutty perfection! Thank you again. Can’t wait to come back! 11/29 Absolutely wonderful food and people (thank you Rita)! The lamb souvlaki was incredible. The lamb was cooked perfectly and sooo tender. The chicken shawarma sandwich, beet salad, kibble, and red lentil soup were crazy good. Don't even think about not going! I can't wait to come back! A few tables inside, and a few outside. I would stand and eat, or eat in the car for this food! ”
“ Okay guys, this is a legit a must try/ must have. The customer service immaculate, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, the food?! Fu&ing amazing, fresh, seasoned and the portions are big (definitely a bang for your buck)! I would highly recommend this place, especially because this place is phenomenal, nothing in town that can compare, I would normally drive to NJ for Lebanese food like this. Family owned, and family ran, what else can you ask for?! ”
“ This is the quintessential quick stop! I can't recommend the chicken shawarma platter enough. You won't be disappointed. And, i say this as someone who typically dislikes Mediterranean food. They have won me over completely! The chicken is tender and well seasoned. The rice is perfectly cooked and contributes a lot to the dish. The pitas are warm and yummy. And you get a lot of vegetables to go with it! Make sure and ask for some of the red sauce to put on your shawarma! You'll be in heaven! The tahini and vinegar are great, but dang I wish they sold the red stuff! Who knows they might, I'll probably have to come back. Usually rice dilutes a dish but theirs adds so much character. Delicious. And the customer service? Amazing. Rita is such a wonderful lady. We were passing through and checking out the Deleware Water Gap and needed some lunch, Cedars Grill was a diamond in the rough! Been road tripping for a few days, and it had the best affordability to deliciousability ratio yet! It is a little unassuming and can feel like a Deli, but this place has so much heart. You don't see customer service like this anymore, Rita is amazing and her Lebanese mother *knows* how to cook food. My friends enjoyed their salmon salad and quesadilla quite a bit. They have a cute little store with deli stuff, Turkish delight, olives, fresh bulk dates. You'll feel like your in someone's living room and they just cooked their favorite family dishes. It's a really special treat, you gotta try Cedar's Grill if you're passing through! ”
